The Death Egg, with Eggman inside, has fallen onto an island. Eggman, battered and bruised, crawled out of his space station from his most destructive failure yet. Suddenly, he noticed something green and bright glowing near him. He ventured through the ruins until he found a shrine with a massive Emerald the size of a Volkswagen Beetle in it!!! Robotnik thought he could use it for power, but then the shrine's guardian, a red Echidna, defended and thought he was the enemy. But then Robotnik stopped him and told the guardian that a great evil is coming. Its name . . . is Sonic.
