Belle the Tinkerer is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. She is a free-willed and kind-hearted Badnik created by Dr. Eggman when he had amnesia and was known as "Mr. Tinker". Belle is based on a female anthropomorphic animal from Sonic's world. Unlike normal Badniks, Belle's casing is made entirely of wood.
Dr. Eggman managed to revive all the villains, and now he wants to take over the whole world. Sonic and his friends must make it in time and stop these villains. If this is not done, the world will again turn into a large Eggman base.
