Mimic is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by IDW Publishing. He is an anthropomorphic mimic octopus and a mercenary who carries the ability to shapeshift. He was formerly a member of the Diamond Cutters but later betrayed them to Dr. Eggman. He is now an enemy of Whisper the Wolf.
Dr. Eggman managed to revive all the villains, and now he wants to take over the whole world. Sonic and his friends must make it in time and stop these villains. If this is not done, the world will again turn into a large Eggman base.
