Amy Rose the Hedgehog is one of the main characters in the Sonic Boom series. She is an anthropomorphic hedgehog and the organizer, archaeologist, and overall backbone of Team Sonic, a heroic group devoted to defending the peace of their world.
The storyline is set in a parallel universe within the Sonic' Multiverse, where Sonic has become a tyrant and established a new world order after Dr. Eggman tricked him into killing Sally Acorn and destroying Green Hills. In an effort to stop this, Knuckles summons counterparts of the freedom fighters's members from the main universe to join his insurgency and end the totalitarian regime.
