On the remote island of Mobius, the speedy hero Sonic and his friends battle the stranded human scientist Doctor Eggman as he seeks the famed Chaos Emeralds to turn the peaceful island into his own Empire. In doing so Eggman also becomes allies with Knuckles The Echidna, the protector of the Master Emerald.
