Dr. Eggman and his doppelgänger Eggman Nega steal the Sol Emeralds, powerful emeralds similar to the Chaos Emeralds. This flings Blaze The Cat, the protected of the Sol Emeralds, into the main earth and creates a tear in spacetime that threatens both worlds. Now Sonic and Blaze must team up to stop the mad doctors.
