Fan Casting Thomas in Sonic and the King of Kings

Thomas was the doubtful, skeptical follower of Jesus who doesn't believe everything he does unless it is shown to him. He is the closest friend of John the Apostle, but Thomas doesn't think the same for John or the others. He was uncertain or unsure about Jesus and the disciples and what they do or say. Miracle after miracle, sign after sign, whether they were impossible to believe or not believe, Thomas was still uncertain about Jesus, yet followed him long enough to trust him. Only something truly remarkable would make him fully believe. (SPOILER: After Jesus was crucified and came back to life, Thomas didn't believe he was back until he saw and put one of his fingers through the holes in Jesus' hands. At that moment, he was no longer doubtful of Jesus or his words.)
