Fan Casting Simon the Zealot in Sonic and the King of Kings

Simon used to be part of an order known as the Zealots, who were members of a Jewish political movement who sought to incite the people of Judea to rebel against the Roman Empire and expel it from the Land of Israel by force of arms. But they also hated the Pharisees and the Sanhedrin, the ones who governed the law for God's people. They are fully committed, to the point of being martyred, in exterminating all enemies of God while they wait for the Messiah's coming, who in their knowledge will come to destroy the Romans, which was not what Jesus wanted.
