Fan Casting Pontius Pilate in Sonic and the King of Kings

Jesus was brought before the Roman governor Pontius Pilate because only Rome can execute someone, and the Pharisees could not. Pontius saw no evil in Jesus while the Pharisees shouted "CRUCIFY HIM!!!!!!", and that he wasn't the King of the Jews. Pontius regretted his decision, but he told them to do what they will and said that Jesus' blood was not on his hands. But Pontius Pilate still felt shame and regret for sending Jesus to his death, even after seeing that he was a good man.
