Currently, Veronica heads the Cale-Anderson Corporation, a giant and influential company in the production and sale of cosmetics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, industrial machinery, consumer goods, health foods, transportation, and tourism. Its large number of subsidiaries was typical of large corporations, although it was intentionally created to cover up illegal activities. Veronica doesn't just want to defeat Wonder Woman; she wants to expose the farce to the world and show that the true gods are the lowly mortals who achieve greatness one battle after another, not these privileged metahumans. Through her corporate empire, she develops human weapons capable of confronting these supposed gods through biological and cybernetic enhancement, many might point to this as hypocrisy, but for Veronica, it's just a demonstration of how flawed these supposed gods are in their flowing capes, since a mere mortal like her can replicate their power. Veronica is also secretly working with Circe, who has her own personal feud with Themyscira.
