After the end of World War II, Diana spent years wandering aimlessly and selling ancient artifacts from Themyscira to survive. It was during one of these sales that she met Julia Kapatelis, who took her into her home and taught Diana about the modern world, in exchange only for Diana sharing her knowledge of Greek myths. After the events of Batman v Superman, Diana announces to Julia that she will return to wearing her costume and sword and become the superheroine known as "Wonder Woman". Following this prologue, we follow Diana after the events of Justice League, working as a superheroine in Washington. Diana faces persecution from the media, as radical feminist groups accuse Wonder Woman of imposing unattainable standards for women.
