Christopher Eric Johnson Jr., better known by the stage name Eric Vale, is an American voice actor, ADR director, script writer and head writer at Funimation, who provided voices for a number of English versions of Japanese anime series.
The show is a parody of the Japanese-American video game franchise Super Mario. It is about Mario, who in here is being depicted as quite a moron, getting into crazy meme-related adventures with his friend SMG4, who is a fictionalized version of the show's creator. The show usually revolves around cartoony slapstick comedy reminiscent of the Looney Tunes and Silly Symphonies combined with surreal humour of shows such as Space Ghost: Coast to Coast and Aqua Teen Hunger Force, as well as pop culture references.
