King Boo has escaped his painting and finds that ghosts these days are not scary anymore, now kids make terrible content based off of them. King Boo destroys a ruby-encrusted moon that turns ghosts evil and haunt the living. E. Gadd contacts Luigi to come back and suck up the ghosts again.
