Set in a picturesque, suburban neighborhood, Skyline Heights follows the intertwined stories of three different families who have all lived in the same cul-de-sac for years. At the heart of the film is a 12-year-old boy named Lucas, who dreams of adventure beyond the safe confines of his home. When he stumbles upon an old map in his grandfather’s attic, rumored to lead to hidden treasure somewhere within the town, Lucas convinces his best friends and a few reluctant adults to help him solve the mystery. As they follow the map’s clues, the film dives deep into each family’s personal struggles — a mother grappling with single parenthood, an elderly couple facing the realities of aging, and a young couple dealing with a loss. The adventure serves as a metaphor for how these families confront their own obstacles, rediscovering the importance of connection, resilience, and hope. The treasure they seek turns out to be a long-forgotten community space, left untouched for generations, symbolizing unity and the value of shared memories. Skyline Heights is a heartwarming, emotional journey about family, friendship, and the unexpected discoveries that lie in the familiar.
