Avenir's birth mother, a timid woman who found herself constantly living in fear of a man who turned out to be far different from the one she married, until losing her son inspired her to leave. After all, watching her husband care so little and even celebrate over the loss of her son made her realize that he truly didn't care for her after all, and she'd be much better off without him. And though she's glad she left, she still greatly regrets not being able to save either of her sons, but with Avenir back in her life, she might get a chance to right her wrongs at last.
