Blackout is 300 year old dragon hailing from the realm of dreams. He was once part of the Dark Stygian, a dragon clan whose purpose was to create nightmares in evil doers’ minds to make sure they renounce their ways, but the clan begun abusing its power for their interests, pushing Blackout to betray it. He first appeared in season 1 when he saved the students of Skylanders Academy from the nightmares Dreamcatcher created and told Spyro that he will be there to help in times of need. Despite his sinister appearance, he shows to be brave and having gentleman’s manners.
