Originally an ancient tree that had stood in Skylands for generations, Tree Rex was mutated into the tree monster he is today by continued pollution from Arkeyan factories, leading him to join the fight against them as one of the Giants, the ancient predecessors to the Skylanders. In the original games, he speaks with a deep and tough, but jovial voice.
