The hooded woman, the one who comforted Connie during his captivity at the hands of Wolfgang, was none other than Zafina, Spyro's mother. She used a human like disguise to avoid Malefor and his army, after Apollo and Cynder's parents were murdered giving Spyro at the care of Eon. When she realized her son was under Strykore's control, she revealed herself and allied with the Portal Masters to save Spyro and make the Dark Emperors flee Earth.
