Fan Casting Yewubdar Kebede in Skylanders: A Ring of Heroes

Fancasted VAs must be Black. A 23-year-old woman of Amhara descent from England. Yewubdar was once a fairly sporty girl, but after being slotted into a “tough tomboy” box by her peers and discouraged from pursuing her passion for fashion, she lost her passion for sports and devoted herself wholeheartedly to the fashion industry. Eventually, she found an internship with a company that promised to give her a shot if she rose the ranks and worked hard, but she was constantly passed over for promotions in favor of her nonblack peers. Eventually, she accidentally overheard a conversation between her higher-ups where they said she was a diversity hire brought to make the company look good and they had no intentions of letting her move up, and she was rightfully so upset that she resigned. She’d just turned in her resignation when she arrived in Skylands, and her friends help her regain her passion and encourage her to forge her own path. Yewubdar's a hard worker with big dreams who’ll stop at nothing to make them happen, usually, anyways. She’s both tomboyish and feminine, loving sports and the outdoors and also anything cute, frilly, and fashionable. However, she doesn’t like being shoved into boxes by others, and is very sensitive to others’ judgment. She’s had many of her passion dampened by other people’s opinions and bigotry, but eventually learns that being herself regardless of how they think or feel is the way to go and slowly rekindles them as she finds a supportive network.
