Fancasted VAs must be Latine and/or SWANA A 24-year-old man of Mexican-Lebanese descent from the United States. His parents were paranormal investigators who disappeared when he was young, right after they’d gone to film a milestone episode for their reality tv show about the paranormal. After that, he ended up in the care of his grandparents, who forebade him and his siblings from anything fantasy. Instead, he got a vested interest in historical fiction and wanted to become an author of it, but struggled to make a career even after working hard to get a good degree. Instead, he’s stuck in a dead-end job to provide for his younger siblings and aging grandfather, and he’s pretty bitter about it. So, he’s decided to investigate his parents’ disappearance and find out if they truly are dead, or if they were really alive all along (mostly to force them to take responsibility for their family). He was doing this when he was pulled into a rift and sent to Skylands. Serious and cynical with a strong sense of responsibility, Wafi hates people who shirk their duties, and views irresponsibility as one of the greatest sins of all. However, he is gentle and generous with people who try their best, and his creativity and sharp mind make him a very valuable leader. He also loves studying history and all its little facets, and has a passion for writing.
