Fancasted VAs must be Southeast Asian. You get bonus points for VAs who are disabled as well. A 23-year-old woman of Malaysian descent from Singapore. Suraya was diagnosed with cancer as a child, and spent most of her youth in and out of the hospital before finally being declared cancer-free in her teenage years. Though she survived, the cancer and associated treatment left her with chronic fatigue, PTSD, and a recurring fear that her cancer would someday return to claim her life. She spent most of her life house/bedbound because of her fatigue, and was lonely and miserable under she got the idea to get into online gaming. Eventually, she found a small circle of friends who encouraged her to get into vtubing, which ended up becoming a passion for her and earning her a modest following. Though Suraya is outwardly cheerful and encouraging, this is a bit of a mask to hide her own hollowness and fears of her cancer returning and rendering everything she’d worked for moot by leaving her stuck in the hospital or taking her life for good. She has a lot of medical anxiety and tends to be especially sensitive to medical emergencies. She does, however, love to game and be with her friends, and over time, begins aspiring to have some kind of lasting legacy to leave behind even if she dies young.
