Fan Casting Nicolas "Nico" Gillet in Skylanders: A Ring of Heroes

Fancasted VAs must be SWANA and/or Jewish. You get bonus points for VAs who are neurodivergent as well. A 22-year-old man of Maghrebi Jewish descent from France. Nico is autistic, but masked easily, and dealt with a lot of internalized ableism due to the constant pressure to be more “acceptable” to the public. He frequently bullied Warren when they were growing up, but defended it by saying that he was helping Warren be more “normal”. Eventually, Nico grew up, moved out, and got a decent job, but then the company he worked for went under and he found himself jobless. Ultimately, he had no choice but to move back in with his family, which reignited his and Warren’s childhood feud. The two constantly fought, and in fact, were in the middle of a fight when a rift pulled them to Skylands. Nico claims he’s got real world responsibilities to get back to and just wants to go home. However, staying in Skylands ultimately causes him to become more open to the parts of him he represses. Nico’s very sensitive to others’ emotions and perceptions, which can make him more understanding of their problems, but also just as easily causes him to get overwhelmed. He has a strong sense of justice and rules, and gets frustrated when others don’t act according to his opinions of how they should. Being forced to mask so much means he tends to be extra harsh on those who remind him too much of himself, but eventually, he slowly overcomes it and becomes more open-minded as he embraces the parts of himself he long repressed.
