Six months after his adventures in Skylands came to an end, Wafi is back to his menial retail job and back to caring for his family, but a much heavier weight resides on his heart. Just before his adventures in Skylands came to a close, Wafi learned from Cedric that his missing parents were alive and somewhere in Skylands, but he's found himself not nearly as prepared to confront them as he thought he was. So, he's back to the usual grind, but he's now pushed himself to work on self-publishing his novels and make something of himself after his friends inspired him. While working on his manuscripts, his portal suddenly activated, and he found himself called back to Skylands.
