A twenty-four-year-old man of Ewe-Akan descent from Ghana who was part the team of portal masters that traveled to Skylands and stopped Kaos during the 2010s. Mawuli was a deaf man who spent his whole life fighting back against those who'd looked down on him, and that continued when he returned back to Earth. Having had the virtues of higher education instilled in him by his scholar parents, Mawuli is currently studying to become a teacher specifically to help disabled people like himself access the education they need, but that requires him passing the barriers of higher education first—and it was during his studies that he was called back to Skylands. When his team finally located Kaos and the Book of Dark Magic, however, a rift opened and pulled everyone involved in the fight into the Second Dimension, where they've resided for the past several months. Eventually, his team was found by the current team of portal masters and Skylanders, and they're now working together to return home. Mawuli is a quiet, tender soul who tends to hold little presence in the room, but you'd be unwise in thinking he's weak or a pushover. He was raised first and foremost to never let anyone look down on him, and he's quick to take advantage of people who underestimate his capabilities. He has a strong sense of justice, and deeply resents people who look down on others or push around anyone they deem weaker or less important than themself. He also has a strong passion for the arts and literature, and is often found painting or crafting.
