Hugo is still dutifully aiding Master Eon as ever, and he's been combing every book in the library he can for some answers regarding why just reclaiming the Book of Dark Magic did nothing to stop the rifts—but, he's coming up empty. He's grown frustrated that all his research and knowledge is amounting to nothing, and can't help but feel a little useless.
