Six months after his adventures in Skylands came to an end, Gunnar's been slowly picking himself up off the floor and recovering from the demons of his youth. He and Alex have finally rebuilt their bridges, Gunnar himself has been seeing an online therapist about his trauma and mental health issues, and he's even found remote work and is taking baby steps to conquering his agoraphobia! He's finally starting to see the light in life again, and now that he's back in Skylands, he can't wait to reunite with his friends now that he's coming so far!
