Six months after her adventures in Skylands came to an end, Birdie has finally decided to embrace her true gender and become who she was always meant to be. So, she rug-pulled her multi-millionaire dad into giving her the money she needed to fund her transition and independence by claiming it would go to a startup for an AI dating app for lonely people, and then blocked her parents' numbers and drove into the sunset. Now, she's several months on HRT and she's never felt more confident and happy! She's also taken up guerrilla hacktivism, and was in the middle of a case when her portal reactivated, and she realized it was time to return to Skylands.
