Fan Casting Michael "Mike" Smith in Skylanders: A Battle of Heroes

Zeke's late father, who joined the military because they whispered sweet nothings in his ear and promised him everything he could ever need to be successful in life, but just chewed him up and spat him out. He was too traumatized and changed by military life to find stability elsewhere but greatly resented army life, and used the son he never really wanted as an effectual outlet for all his grievances with life. Zeke hadn't actually seen him since he was a boy, but in the time since Zeke chose to live in Skylands full-time, Mike was eventually forced out of the military due to becoming too unstable to work well in military life, and with no support network, fell into poverty and unhealthy habits until he eventually died alone, homeless, and destitute. When he learned of his father's fate, Zeke found himself haunted by the fact that this could've been him if he wasn't lucky.
