A troll hybrid portal master from Skylands' past who specializes in the Dark Element. Said to have been the first recorded portal master to specialize in what is now known as the Dark Element, Mani was a watchful soul that guarded the nights from evil. Before his passing, he sealed part of his magic—and by extension, a piece of his soul—into a magical cube that was sent far, far, away, and the heroes now seek out his guidance in Awakening. The cube containing his magic was secured from the Battlegrounds after the heroes returned to Skylands, and as a result, he serves as the Dark elementals' mentor in the path to Awakening.
