Following his return from the Second Dimension and gaining his newfound mission to awaken his inner power and stop Navneet, Inverno had become Dr. Krankcase's fated partner, having been the one to send him back to Skylands when they made their brief pit-stop on Earth. On top of his magical troubles, his mundane ones are tearing their heads when his mother finds the posts hes made online talking about his experiences under her oppressive grip, and not only is she threatening to sue him, but she's been entering even more force than normal over his younger siblings—and his only finds this out when Estate gets smuggled to his place by his sisters after they learned of her plans to send them to conversion therapy.
