Skye Hauntley is a teenage vampire-hunting princess living with her parents and two siblings in Transiland, a land inhabited by vampires. She longs to live in a human town, but her overprotective father forbids it, as humans and vampires are enemies. Undeterred, she befriends two human teenagers, Nami Peters and Maya Stone, who take her under their wing. However, the local bully, Charlie, and the snobby cheerleader, Harley, remain unaware that she is a vampire disguised as a human, forcing Skye and her friends to keep her true nature a secret. Even so, Skye stands up to her enemies.
