Richard Benjamin (born May 22, 1938) is an American actor and film director. He has starred in a number of productions, including Goodbye, Columbus (1969), based on the novella (1959) by Philip Roth, and Westworld (1973).
When a disgraced, highly decorated ICE agent (a "hero" in his community) decides the system he serves is too soft, he begins kidnapping the families of his colleagues and local immigrants in San Clemente to blackmail the government, forcing his former partner to choose between the law and protecting the victims in a game of twisted vengeance.
