Alexander "Alex" Proyas (born 23 September 1963) is an Australian filmmaker. He is best known for directing the films The Crow (1994), Dark City (1998), I, Robot (2004), Knowing (2009), and Gods of Egypt (2016).

Harry and his daughter Cheryl decide to go on vacation, but after a mysterious girl appears on the road, Harry crashes the car. After awaking from the crash, Harry finds Cheryl is missing and tries to find her within a ghost town full of fog called, SILENT HILL.
