Derek James is your average teenager living in Metropolis, but thanks to the Dimensional Rift caused by Luthorcorp during the events of Superman (2025), he gained brand new abilities, most prominently the ability to create tears in space time called “Rifts”. With these new powers, Derek James adopts the new Superhero identity of Sideways.
I think it would be fun to see Sideways get adapted into the DCU, and in this universe tie him into with the dimensional rift seen in Superman. I just made this for fun.
