When King Harold is getting sick and he's about to die without the throne. Shrek is left with the duty and responsibilities of running Far, Far Away as the new King. But Shrek doesn't feel like he is the right guy for the job. The only solution is having someone else take the throne. So, he, Donkey, and Puss embark on a quest to find the rightful heir, Fiona's cousin, Arthur Pendragon. Fiona is become pregnant as a mother, as Prince Charming brings together all evil fairy tale creatures in an attempt to take over as the new King.
