Andrew Ralph Adamson, MNZM (born 1 December 1966) is a New Zealand film director, producer and screenwriter based mainly in Los Angeles, California, U.S., where he made the blockbuster animation films, Shrek and Shrek 2 for which he received an Academy Award nomination. He was director, executive producer, and scriptwriter for C. S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Shooting took place in New Zealand, primarily in and around Auckland, but also in South Island where much of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy was filmed. He also worked on the movies Batman Forever and Batman & Robin as a visual effects supervisor. He was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2006 Queen's Birthday Honours List. The fifth and final installment in the Shrek franchise. Nine years have passed since the latest Shrek story, Shrek Forever After. Fiona and Shrek have lived a very happy life in their swamp home. Their triplets are now ten years old. Donkey and his wife, Dragon, have built a new home next door to Shrek and Fiona. The spooky swamp legend, Will-o'-the-wisp, begins to haunt Shrek's swamp. Meanwhile, Shrek is throwing a Halloween party for his friends and neighbors. Things go wrong and Will-o'-the-wisp begins scaring the guests and threatening Shrek and his family's lives. Shrek agrees to team up with Prince Charming, and his brother, Prince Not-So-Charming, as well as Shrek's brother Marty, to save the swamp and rid of Will-o'-the-wisp.
