'Shrek 5' plunges back into the swampy adventures of our favorite ogre family, but this time, the spotlight shifts to the next generation. Years after happily ever after, Shrek and Fiona's teenage children, Felicia (voiced by Zendaya), Fergus (voiced by Callan McAuliffe), and Farkle (voiced by Tanner Buchanan), are itching to forge their own paths. Felicia, a spirited and independent ogre, feels constrained by her parents' legacy and longs for a life beyond the familiar swamp. Fergus, a gentle giant, struggles to find his place within his boisterous family, while Farkle, ever the prankster, finds himself in a bit of mischief. When a long-forgotten prophecy surfaces, threatening Far Far Away, the trio must embark on a quest to prove themselves, confronting their insecurities and embracing their unique ogre strengths. With Shrek and Donkey reluctantly offering guidance, the siblings navigate treacherous landscapes, encounter new fantastical creatures, and ultimately discover the true meaning of family and what it means to be an ogre in a changing world.
