Now 17, Billy Batson has spent 3 years as Captain Marvel, Earth’s magical protector and the youngest member of the Justice League. At the newly built Hall of Justice, Batman and Superman debate new recruits—Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter—before turning to a bigger issue: Captain Marvel’s secret identity. Footage reveals Captain Marvel turning into a teenager—Billy Batson—during a fierce battle with Dr. Sivana, who killed the Wizard Shazam and now seeks to end his champion. The transformation was caught by a mysterious informant: T.B. Superman fears the risk. Batman suggests mentorship, not removal. Just then, Billy enters the Hall—no powers, no costume. He says they don’t need to debate: he’s quitting the League. Sivana is growing too strong, and Billy must stop him alone. Batman warns they can't let him go solo. Superman accuses Batman of turning his sidekicks into him. Batman fires back: he made Dick and Jason Robin to prevent that. Billy confronts Sivana, who reveals he stole greater magic from the Wizard and wants one final fight. Billy holds his own, but Sivana overpowers him—until Superman arrives. Together, they subdue Sivana, who confesses: he was hired… by someone familiar. Adam. Sivana is locked in the Phantom Zone. Superman asks Billy to reconsider leaving, but Billy walks away. Tracking the T.B. footage, Billy arrives at an apartment. A man answers. Billy asks for Tawny Batson. The man stares. “My name is Billy Batson,” he says. “I’m your son".
