Fan Casting Black Adam in Shazam! The Black Adam Awakening

In the run-up to the creation of that universe, development on a feature film starring Shazam took place in the early 2000s, with Dwayne Johnson announced to play Black Adam in 2007. Development would eventually be put on hold, though Johnson continued to show interest in the paper. The studio, however, preferred to give preference to an Egyptian actor.
