After the events of the previous film, Billy Batson and his family continue to act as superheroes, but are still learning to reconcile teenage life with adult superhero alter-egos. However, his old enemy Dr. Sivana resurfaces, now an ally of Mr. Mind, and together they are recruiting a team of supervillains to go after the heroes.
