Shazam! 2 (stylized on the poster as Shazam 2!) is a 2022 superhero film featuring the DC Comics hero, Captain Marvel. It is the fourteenth film in the DCEU and the second film in Phase 3. It is the sequel to Shazam!. It was released on August 5, 2022. After the defeat of Dr. Sivana in the last film, Billy tries to continue his life as an adult superhero and as a regular kid, as well as the rest of his family. It gets harder and harder each day, but a new challenges faces the Marvel Family, a returned Dr. Sivana, along with some new nefarious friends bent on taking over the world.
