Maximilian Lee Piazza is a New York-based actor and martial artist specializing in Iaijutsu, a Japanese sword martial art known as Ryushin Shouchi Ryu. Maximilian's journey began with his role as the young Tim Kono in Hulu's Emmy-nominated series, Only Murders in the Building. In 2022, he made his film debut as Josh Hubbins in Spirited, working closely with the talents of Ryan Reynolds, Will Ferrell and Octavia Spencer. In 2023, Maximilian took on the iconic role of young Zoro in Netflix's live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece, the best-selling manga of all time with over 510 million copies sold worldwide. As an animal lover and budding activist, Maximilian devotes time to raising awareness for several charities including Charity Water, 4Oceans and donates proceeds from each of his projects to Cornell Skop, a sanctuary for wildlife animals. He is highly involved in raising awareness about racism and discrimination against Asian Americans, a cause that holds personal significance to him.

Billy Batson is a troubled young teenager who has spent his life travelling across his America after he was abandoned by his parents at birth. Billy ends up in a foster home in Philadelphia run by Victor and Rosa Vasquez and meeting his new foster siblings. Billy gets along with with one of the kids Freddy Freeman who idolises the Justice League. One day when Billy was sat alone on his way back to the foster home from school he transports to the Rock of Eternity. He is greeted by a Wizard called Shazam, the last remaining member of the Council of Wizards. Shazam chooses Billy to become the next champion, by saying his name Billy transforms into a god like superhero before magically turns into dust. Billy rushes back home for help from Freddy. The two spend the night discovering Billy’s new powers and abilities, including that he will only turn into the god-like being by saying the name ‘Shazam’. Freddy comes up with the name ‘Captain Marvel’ for Billy.
