From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Beverly Todd (born July 11, 1946) is an American actress, producer and writer. Todd gained major work during the 1970s, appearing in notable films such as The Lost Man (1969), They Call Me MISTER Tibbs! (1970), Brother John (1971) and A Piece of the Action (1977). This eventually led to other distinguished and more important work. Her more memorable roles came in Lean on Me and the film Crash. Recently, she reunited with Morgan Freeman (who co-starred with her in Lean On Me), playing the role of his wife in the 2007 film The Bucket List. Todd was born in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Virena Todd (née Skinner). Todd was previously married to film producer Kris Keiser. Together they had a son Malik Smith, who died on March 20, 1989 at the age of eighteen after being severely beaten at a nightclub while on spring break. 14-year-old Billy Batson has spent most of her life in search of her dad, and since losing him, she has been to over foster homes across Fawcett City. Billy in his current Foster home lives with Freddy Freeman, who is handicapable and has a huge love for Superwoman, Marc Bromfield, who is finishing off his Senior year of High School, & the Vasquezs, there Foster parents. But everything changes for Billy when a magical being named Black Eve arrives and attacks Billy, stating her intent to kill the girl before the Witch can get to her. Billy manages to run into the subway where she escapes which takes her to a gigantic cave. There Billy meets the Witch Shazam who tells her that she is the next Chosen One. The Witch explains that Black Eve had been her champion 5000 years ago, but Eve had used her power for personal gain and corrupted the gift. She was then banished across the universe but has now returned seeking vengeance against the Witch and her new champion. The Witch bestows her power to Billy and causes a cave in, wishing to atone for the mistake of creating Black Eve. She tells Billy to say her name if she needs help. Billy says "SHAZAM!," finds herself instantly transformed by a bolt of lightning into a powerful adult version of herself with superhuman strength, speed, durability, and flight. Now with this Power, it’s up to Billy to save the Day.
