It’s 1872, in Victorian England and most Londoners have never seen a Faerie. But Justice Kasric has. She’s a fifteen year-old young girl living with her family in the Soho District, and she’s got a feral disinterest in London society, but she’s an armchair expert on sailing and naval tactics and longs desperately to go to sea. But she doesn’t know that the Wild Hunt is coming for her and her family. Father is prepared, however and they escape into a mansion packed to the gills with guardian cats, enchanted black iron gates, and one singularly odd magician. When her entire family gets involved in the Faerie Invasion Plan - on both sides! - Justice and her siblings discover talents and powers they never knew they had. Add one Father who’s playing both sides, a Mother who’s definitely on the wrong side, a mercurial magician and the disconcertingly handsome Faerie soldier Avonstoke, and you get an adventure the rages across England, Faerie, and everywhere in between.
