Fluffy is Oscar's pet elephant on Sesame Street. She appeared as early as season 12. She lives inside his trash can, and all that is ever revealed of her is a trunk waving out from the trash can. However, book illustrations have often shown Fluffy in her full glory. Fluffy's trunk measures 8-9 feet 4 inches long from tip to tusk, suggesting she's much bigger than what meets the eye for her full body. Regardless of how much of Fluffy is on display, she is always very vocal, often trumpeting loudly (via recordings of actual elephant trumpets). Fluffy is not the only elephant residing in Oscar's trash can. Other elephant trunks have been glimpsed at various times, among Oscar's other pets.
