First appeared in Two-Gun Kid #60 in 1962 and was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Matt Hawk (born Matthew Leibowitz) was a Harvard-educated lawyer from Boston who settled in Tombstone after the American Civil War and became the masked vigilante Two-Gun Kid after making an enemy of Clem Carter and his gang.
