Tania's date in 2099 is interrupted when she is called upon to assist Alchemax's Avengers in recovering gems that were stolen by the Chain Gang. Captain America offers the crooks a chance to surrender, but a drunken Hercules chooses to attack rather than wait for their response. A blast sends him careening into a flying car, startling the woman within. The Chain Gang begin to flee, Iron Man and Captain America, the latter carried by the winged Hawkeye, give pursuit.
