The main protagonist (Final Girl) of the requel trilogy (Scream 5 & Scream VI). She is the older sister of Tara Carpenter and harbors a dark family secret: she is the biological daughter of Billy Loomis, the original 1996 Ghostface killer. Sam struggles with hallucinations of her father and fears her own potential for violence, but uses her killer instincts to ruthlessly protect her sister and friends from new waves of Ghostface attacks in Woodsboro and New York City
