A fresh take on the Wes Craven classic that, instead of being a traditional remake, embraces the originals by bringing back Sidney, Dewey, and Gale, but only for the beginning. Scream 5 takes place after the events of the 4th installment and briefly follows our trio of heroes before they are all killed by a new version of the Ghostface Killer. The story then picks up with a new cast of characters who reside in Woodsboro, who are terrorized by the new Ghostface.
