The Water People is a human hunter-gatherer society based in the Savage Land. They lived close to the river with fishing as their main was of survival. Members of the Water People were kidnapped by the Swamp Men turned Mutates to be part of the Creators experiments. They were freed by Ka-Zar and the X-Men.[1]
